Loudspeaker Anechoic Evaluations

TV & Sound-bar In-Room Evaluations
TVs, Sound-bars, Smart-Speakers and other audio products designed to be part of our environment have complex acoustics – highly influenced by their placement or setting. In-room evaluations take into account “adjacent boundaries” (table, wall) as well as the unique combination of Direct Sound, Early Reflections and Total Radiation from these products. In-Room (in-situ) evaluations are key in making Critical Evaluation and Tuning choices key in delivering best in class consumer audio products. Aurio Acoustics methods align with rtings.com and best-practices for repeatable and reproducible in-room evaluations.

This means our lab is always and innovating and adapting to test and evaluate at different scales and areas of focus.
Aurio Acoustics welcomes and specializes in new and innovative. If your evaluation doesn’t fit the mold of routine and standard, is iterative, or requires development then it may be a better fit for Aurio Acoustics Consulting.

Lab rates and workflow
- Lab rate (including engineer): $250/hour for routine testing, with 4 hour minimum
- Lab rates, testing rates do not include shipping
- Some products/evaluations may have additional fees:
- Large (over 48″, 1.2m) or heavy (over 100lb or 45kg)
- Products requiring fabrication of custom mounts or supports
- Products requiring unusual time to unpack and pack
- We can accept freight deliveries requiring a loading dock – though there is limited room for a forklift inside near the loading dock (load and unload with pallet jack)
- Lab location is in Hollister, in Southern Missouri
